So let’s get right into the video starting with...
With a combination of introverted intuition
and extraverted thinking as their most dominant
functions, it comes with no surprise that they
have a distaste for rather illogical people
and scenarios. INTJs look at situations with a
logical mind in hopes of finding the reasoning
behind things.. But for most of the world has
been influenced by the notion of accepting and
confirming, finding the reasoning behind things
seems like a waste of time. But, to the INTJ,
the people who think this way are a waste
uses reasoning behind their decisions such as -
‘because that’s the way it’s always been done’ or
‘because I felt like it was the best choice’
Luckily, most times, this sensible type is able
to just shake their heads in awe and move on..
influenced on them through higher positions,
such as in a career setting, the INTJ will
quickly reason themselves into another position.
just so happen to despise both occurrences.
Yet, unnecessary rules have a special place
in their special book of hate, especially if the
rules are set out for them personally to follow.
INTJs love to question the status quo and societal
structures that have been placed before them.
And when you learn to question these things
from an early age, you begin to realize the true
irrelevancy behind it all. INTJs see everything
for what it is, and more.. but sometimes there
isn’t anything more to be seen. Sometimes it
just ‘is what it is’, and that’s extremely
unsettling for the INTJ who can automatically
rules with no meaning or unfair motives end up
hindering overall efficiency anyway, and there’s
nothing more tiresome for the INTJ to witness
than ongoing inefficiency.. Also known as..
Before an INTJ takes any action, makes any
always have concluded the efficiency and reasoning
behind it. They don’t do anything half-hearted or
just for the sake of doing something..and
because of this they can become seriously
irked when people don’t take things as seriously.
For example, if someone’s excuse for lagging
behind at work is that they’re a slow worker, when
clearly they goof around every chance they get,
an INTJ can end up feeling seriously frustrated.
even if it’s not their own time and money being
used.. It’s a matter of efficiency and logic,
why would you show up for a job if you’re
INTJs are private.. In fact, they’re known
for being one of the more private of the 8
introverted types of the Myers-Briggs typology.
This disinterest in sharing doesn’t only have to
do with sharing information about themselves,
but also the obligation of listening to other
people’s oversharing. This is especially true when
the topic of conversation is surrounding emotions,
intentionally put someone else on the spot
to question them about their own doings. This type
of rather illogical banter can end up mentally
exhausting the INTJ or even send them into a
panic if they’re the ones expected to share.
Number 5: Incessant one-sided conversations
On the topic of oversharing.. Sometimes it doesn’t
have to do with the topic of conversation but the
flow in which a conversation is going. While we’ve
all come across a chatty Cathy here and there,
if someone isn’t able to get the social cues
that maybe they’re talking a little too much..
You can expect any INTJ to mentally check out
(while being completely annoyed in the process).
Conversation and speech have power, and should
be used with intention with respect to the
listener’s time and interest. INTJ’s don’t just
talk for the sake of talking, so they sometimes
can’t wrap their heads around the fact that some
people are able to talk, and talk, and talk,
without any concern that they may be slightly
annoying. The most annoying part is that it would
be rude of the INTJ to make any hints or obvious
remarks to get the other person to reconsider.
Or when they’re efforts to change the topic of
conversation gets interrupted by the other person
constantly bringing it back to themselves.
They may not be much of a talker, but INTJs
certainly don’t want anyone talking for them.
In fact, quite frankly INTJs tend to think
that most people don’t measure up to their
decision-making qualifications..even when it
comes to romantic relationships. Most of the time,
these logical types want everything to be passed
by them which isn’t so much of an issue in a
workplace setting and basic social interaction,
but can end up causing slight discord in romance.
Setting this tone in a relationship can end up
giving their partner the impression that they’re
seen as incapable of decision-making on their own
behalf. Sometimes this pet-peeve is necessary,
and other times, it can end up causing more
problems than if they were to just leave it alone.
Small talk, oversharing, one-sided conversations
.. I’m sure by now you’re getting the drift. INTJs
would much rather avoid social interaction than
not. However, one of the most annoying aspects
of social interaction for the INTJ, are the
simple gestures people feel obligated to do
holding the door open for someone behind you comes
with very practical reasoning behind it. But to
ask someone how they are when you know that their
answer is going to be ingenuine and automatic,
just doesn’t do it for the INTJ to continue.
Well, actually, sometimes it’s not that easy.
Some people with this type see no way out of
these programmed social gestures without seeming
like a total scrooge, so they work around it and
try to contain their annoyance. But in the end,
they much rather use their blunt humor and dry
wit to navigate through these social niceties.
sensibility, in the eyes of an INTJ, there are
much more important things in life that they’d
rather dedicate their determination towards.
life-lessons hold much more value in their
repertoire of valuable things because they
are priceless and only achievable if you put
the work in. This ultimately leaves very little
interest for current trends, fashion statements,
leaving superficiality to be considered as
rather surface level.. Sure, they may seem a
little plain or non-expressive considering
they’re not the type to care about looks,
but in reality, INTJs can end up being some of the
most interesting people. Some people are shallow
